The Telangana Police hatched a conspiracy against the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Minister Mr. V. Srinivas Goud.
According to sources, on the 2nd of March, Wednesday, the Hyderabad Commissioner of Police (CP) Mr. Anjani Kumar, busted a gang of 8 people, which allegedly conspired to kill Telangana Tourism Minister Mr. V. Srinivas Goud.
The Hyderabad CP further revealed the alleged involvement of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) former Member of Parliament (MP) from Telangana, Mr. A.P. Jithender Reddy. Notably, on the 2nd of March, the BJP MP, infomed that three of his guests and driver Tilak Thapa were kidnapped from his Delhi residence. Taking to Twitter, Mr. A.P. Jithender Reddy said that his guests were staying at his South Avenue Delhi residence, when on the night of the 1st of March, two unidentified persons allegedly abducted his guests and also shared a CCTV footage of the incident.
However, on the 2nd of March, the Telangana Police claimed the kidnapped to be accused and members of the gang, which were planning to kill the TRS Minister.
According to the police, Mr. Jithender Reddy’s driver and personal assistant had arranged shelter for the accused in Delhi. M. Stephen Raveendra, the Police Commissioner of Cyberabad said, “The gang members conspired to kill (Telangana) Cabinet Minister V Srinivas Goud.”
Meanwhile, an in depth investigation is underway and the role of the former MP and associates of a former woman minister and others are also being verified. After the initial investigation, the police also confirmed to have recovered a pistol and six rounds from the possession of the accused from Uttar Pradesh.
The preliminary investigation also revealed that Mr. A.P. Jithender Reddy hired assassins and were willing to pay Rs. 15 crore for the murder. However, Mr. Jithender Reddy, in a release, denied all the allegations and said that he would approach the High Court against this “false” case.
The investigation in this matter is underway.
