Rajiv Gauba, the Union Cabinet Secretary, on the 15th of April, conducted a meeting with the State secretaries and district collectors and other officials regarding the lockdown guidelines.
The meeting was organised to discuss the smooth conduct of the guidelines of the extended lockdown till the 3rd of May.
On the 14th of April, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced to extend the lockdown as a precautionary measure to curb the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.
District collectors and Director General of Police (DGPs) of all Indian states, attended the meeting through video conference.
The lockdown is proposed to end on the 3rd of May.
