Gurgaon: A 26-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped in a moving car on Sunday night while she was returning back from a club at Sahara Mall on MG Road in Gurgoan.
The woman was kidnapped near Beverly Park-1 around 12.30am when she was returning in an auto to Munirka in Delhi, where she lives in a rented accommodation. Three men in the car offered her lift and allegedly raped her at a deserted in Gurgoan.
The incident took place in Gurgaon, the Vasant Vihar police station registered a zero FIR and transferred the case to Gurgaon Police on Monday. “We have registered a rape case against three unidentified men at the sector 29 police station and are conducting investigations,” ACP DLF Ramesh Pal said.
According to the FIR, “three men then took turns to rape the victim inside the car. Two hours later, the accused dumped her on the side of the road and drove away,” said a police officer.
The police officer said that the victim lives in Munirka along with her two-year-old son.
