The Supreme Court has released a statement saying that they are ready to announce the names of administrators for the BCCI on January 24. This decision came as a contradiction to the earlier order that disqualifies any person with nine years of experience in BCCI or a state association would not qualify for the apex Cricket body for the next tenure.
Justice Dipak Misra who is the head of the bench which has senior advocates like Anil Divan and Gopal Subramaniam are assisting the court in taking a decision and also keeping the BCCI administrators appointment a secret. The bench also agreed to consider the plea of Association of Universities, Railways and also service providers to Universities as they lost full memberships and are now considered associate members. This decision is being challenged by Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi who said that this decision should be recalled as there are bigger questions that need answers.
