The Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) has short-listed 21 names out of the total 57 it received for the post of India’s head coach job. The short-listed are the once who met the primary criteria specified by the board.
The next selection process will include review by the cricket advisory committee which includes Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, VVS Laxman and chief coordinator Sanjay Jagdale.

The committee under Jagdale will interview and seek presentations from the candidates as the committee deems fit. After completing the process the committee will submit a report, by 22 June, recommending its choice of coach to the BCCI president Anurag Thakur through honorary secretary Ajay Shrike.
Tendulkar who is currently on a holiday at England he will be available through video conference.
