Pranav Dhanawade has broke the century old cricketing record on Monday and have become the first batsman to score 1000-plus in any form of cricket. The young champion was seen batting against Arya Gurukul School in Bhandari Cup match which reached 1000 runs in just 323 balls on Tuesday.
The tournament is an under-16 inter-school event organised by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) mainly for the benefit of suburban schools.
Pranav Dhanawade’s game lasted for 395 minutes, which included a staggering 59 sixes and 129 fours.Soon after witnessing this the team declared the innings at 1465/3, by marking it as a world record, with Pranav remaining at unbeaten 1009.
The God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar congratulated the 15-year-old Mumbai school cricket for his achievement.
Dhanawade, son of an auto-rickshaw driver, achieved this feat against Arya Gurukul School in the HT Bhandari Cup inter-school tournament organised by the Mumbai Cricket Association.
