New Delhi: The rising champion of India, PV Sindhu beat Li Xuerui of China on Thursday. The Badminton icon stunned everyone with her victory as she beat Olympic champion Li Xuerui. The Indian shuttler scored 21-17, 14-21, 21-17 in Jakarta.
On Wednesday, Sindhu won the match against Line Kjaersfeldt of Denmark 11-21, 21-17, 21-16. With this victory on Thursday, Sindhu entered the World championship quarter-final. If Sindhu clears the quarter-final, she might play against top seed Carolina Marin or Chinese Wang Shixian. The badminton star advanced into the quarterfinal and this is one of the biggest achievements in her career. At present, she is ranked 13th in Women’s Singles.
