BCCI president Anurag Thakur on Thursday announced Anil Kumble as the new head coach for the next one year. Kumble crossed 56 applicants to be positioned. Its a huge responsibility for the former Indian captain and a legendary leg spinner. But his composure, experience and ability to handle situations are likely to make him a good coach.
Kohli was happy to see Kumble on board as the new Indian cricket team coach. He welcomed Kumble on Twitter as well. “Heartiest welcome to @anilkumble1074 Sir. Look forward to your tenure with us. Great things in store for Indian Cricket with you,” Kohli had posted on his official Twitter account on Thursday after Kumble was appointed as the head coach of Team India.
