To intensify the Huzurabad Assembly campaign, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is planning to rope in national leaders.
The BJP is scheduled to conduct an event to mark the Liberation Day on the 17th of September. On the 17th of September, 1948, Hyderabad was officially included in India and got freedom from the Nizams’ rule. Since then, the day is marked as Telangana Liberation Day.
This year, the BJP is planning to celebrate the day in a grand way and decided to invite the Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah. With Mr. Amit Shah being a part of the event, it looks like a planned strategy of the BJP, especially at a time when the State is going to conduct the Huzurabad Assembly by election.
Unlike every year, this year the Liberation Day celebration by the opposition BJP is going to be a grand event, with the presence of Union Minister and senior BJP leader. Besides the event, the BJP is planning to conduct various public meetings and campaigns to gain support of voters and win the by poll.
In regards to this, the former Member of the Huzurabad Assembly constituency, Mr. Eatala Rajender launched a Padayatra. Later, he had to take a break due to his recent knee surgery.
However, he is fine and is set to begin his intensive campaigns for the Huzurabad Assembly constituency. Soon after getting discharged from the hospital, he recently held a press meet and openly challenged K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana to contest against him.
Now, the visit of Mr. Amit Shah during the poll time would boost the energy of Telangana BJP cadres and would morally support the ongoing campaigns and efforts of the BJP.
Meanwhile, the Huzurabad Assembly poll has now become a major battle with the BJP and the TRS in focus.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) is expected to announce the Huzurabad Assembly by poll sometime soon, mostly in the third week of August.
Until then, the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) would not be in effect, giving campaigning freedom to the parties contesting the Huzurabad Assembly by poll.
