The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Goshamahal constituency criticised the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Party.
The Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh, after the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections, lashed out at the ruling TRS and the All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) party.
Mr. Raja said win of the K. Chandrashekar Rao led TRS in mayoral election was due to the support of the AIMIM.
Raja Singh said, the residents of Hyderabad watched everything. He even recalled the statement of K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana over the alliance of the AIMIM and the TRS.
During the GHMC elections, KCR commented on the alliance rumours of AIMIM and TRS and said both the parties are contesting as individuals. However, when it was about the mayoral elections, the AIMIM backed TRS and made the Party win.
He said that the two parties were now planning to loot the corporation.
Referring to the statement of the AIMIM party leaders that they would also field their candidate in the Mayor and deputy mayor’s elections , he asked the MIM leaders as to why they didn’t contest the elections.
The BJP was the only Party, who nominated their candidates against the TRS for the mayor and the deputy mayor the GHMC elections.
However, with the support of the majority of GHMC corporators, the TRS bagged the two posts.
