Hyderabad: The Chief of the BRS (Bharatiya Rythu Samanvaya Samiti) party, K. Chandrashekar Rao, is scheduled to embark on a tour of Jangaon, Suryapet, and Nalgonda districts on Sunday. The purpose of the visit is to engage with farmers who have suffered crop losses due to water scarcity, aiming to instill confidence among those facing distress.

Rao’s visit comes amid ongoing efforts by party leaders to address agricultural concerns through initiatives like ‘Polam Bata,’ a campaign focused on direct interaction with farmers in the region.

With the agricultural sector bearing the brunt of water unavailability, Rao’s outreach aims to provide reassurance and support to farmers grappling with the impact of crop failures. The visit underscores the BRS’s commitment to addressing the challenges faced by farmers and offering tangible solutions to mitigate their hardships.

Meanwhile, the Congress party alleged that the corrupt practices of KCR ruined the irrigation system in the state. They alleged that KCR’s yatra is just to gain some votes for parliament elections.
