The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) announced support for the All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) for the upcoming local bodies elections.
On the 21st of February, Tuesday, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, said the decision was taken after consulting with senior BRS leaders.
It is to be noted, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi, the President of the AIMIM, sought support for the MLC Local Body elections. Moreover, the AIMIM has announced Mirza Rahmat Baig as the Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) candidate of the Hyderabad City Local Bodies election.
