On the 27th of April, Thursday, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) would celebrate the party formation day.
In view of the formation day, the BRS made elaborate arrangements for the general body meeting of the BRS. Chaired by Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana and the President of the BRS, the meeting is scheduled to be held at Telangana Bhavan, Hyderabad.
During the plenary meeting, the BRS leaders and ministers would discuss the upcoming legislative assembly elections, likely to be held at the end of the year.
This year, the grand celebration would be held with a limited number of people and would be an indoor event amid summer, droughts, untimely rains and other environmental issues.
A total of 300 representatives including ministers, party Members of the legislative Assembly (MLAs,) Members of the legislative Council (MLCs,) Members of Parliament (MPs,) Zilla Parishad, and other party state working groups would attend this meeting.
Ahead of the meeting, Mr. K. Chandrashekar would hoist the national flag and the BRS flag at the Telangana Bhavan. Furthermore, the meeting would begin at 11:00 A.M.
