Hyderabad: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy directed authorities to take up land acquisition to establish new industrial corridors. Revanth asked authorities to acquire at least 500 to 1000 acres between Outer Ring Road (ORR) and Regional Ring Road (RRR) for industrial estate. CM mentioned that the area should be within 100 kilometers radius from Airport and national highway.
Revanth Reddy along with deputy chief minister Bhatti Vikramarka took a review on the industries department on Monday. Revanth said that the land proposed for acquisition should not be suitable for cultivation so that farmers will not face any problems. He directed officials to consider environmental issues while initiating the land acquisition.
Revanth asked authorities to consider establishing industries with less pollution and also directed officials to consider alternatives for Jeedimetla, Nacharam and other industrial areas which are totally polluted.
Revanth asked authorities to take up a detailed study of bulk drug parks established in Asian and European countries and implement a similar model here.
