Hyderabad: Telangana police registered a land grabbing case against former minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLA Ch Malla Reddy.
As per the information from the police, a tribal named Bikshapathi complained to Shamirpet police over Malla Reddy and alleged that he grabbed 47 acres of tribal land. Bikshapathi in his complaint stated that MRO and Malla Reddy together grabbed the tribal land and registered it overnight during the elections
Police took a preliminary enquiry and registered FIR against Malla Reddy on Thursday. Case was registered under SC, ST Act and section 420 of IPC.
Meanwhile, BRS alleged that the Congress government is trying to herrase their MLAs with baseless cases and allegations. BRS said that their party leaders are not afraid of such cases. Malla Reddy said that he didn’t commit any crime and is ready to face any kind of inquiry.
