The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government launched Dharni Portal completed one year today, the 29th of October 2021.

The unique portal for registration of land in revenue department services came into operation on the 29th of October 2020.  Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, launched the state run online portal to establish hassle free, corruption free and transparent revenue administration services for the citizens of Telangana.

Besides safe registration, the portal also updates single details of the land related matters in the State.

According to the TRS Government, the Dharni portal is one solution for all agricultural land related transactions.  On the occasion of the completion of one year of the online portal, the Telangana Government released an official statement.  The press note read, “Dharani has set new benchmarks in land administration.  The strides taken by Dharani in its first year are commendable.  The numbers speak for themselves.   In the last year, the web portal has witnessed 5.17 crore hits and close to 10 lakh transactions have been completed. Close to 1,80,000 acres of land for which Pattadar passbooks were not issued earlier have been brought on to Dharani during this year.”

In addition, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi also ensured the growth and development of the Dharni portal for better functioning.  The State Government official said, the portal adapts according to the feedback of people, using it and changes from time to time for better operation.

As of now, since the launch, the portal has received 1.73 lakh complaints related to land ownership issues, more than 2.07 lakh mutations are pending as on date and 51,794 applications were kept in the prohibited list while 24,618 cases are pending due to court litigations and other issues.

The portal is a hit amongst the people of Telangana, to resolve and to register land related issues in a hassle free and a transparent way.
