After unexpected rains, the Telugu State of Telangana would now witness an extreme heat with the rise in temperature.
On the 30th of March, Thursday, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of extreme temperatures over 40 degrees Celsius, for the next 4 days.
As per the weather report, the Telugu State would witness extreme heat from today, the 31st of March, Friday, till the 3rd of April.
In districts like Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Manchiryala, Narayanapet, Vanaparthi, Jogulamba Gadwala and Nagarkurnool districts, are expected to witness a rise in temperature.
Authorities of the aforementioned districts have been issued an alert from the 31st of March to the 3rd of April. According to sources, orange alert has been issued for Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Aasifabad, Manchiryala, Narayanapet, Vanaparthi, Jogulamba Gadwala and Nagarkurnool districts. In addition, a yellow alert has been issued for the rest of the districts.
Meanwhile, maximum temperatures are already being recorded in various parts of the State. On Thursday, the 30th of March, Bhikkanur Mandal of Kamareddy district recorded the highest temperature of 43.8 degrees. Rajanna Sircilla, Nizamabad, Siddipet, Nalgonda, Jagatiyal, Adilabad, Mahabubnagar, Jogulamba Gadwala, Vikarabad, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Asifabad, Jangaon and Rangareddy districts also recorded temperatures above 40 degrees.
Considering the rise in temperature, the concerned authority and the weather department urged people to be cautious and avoid going out in scorching heat.
