Mr. Narsaiah Goud, a former member of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is likely to join the opposition, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP.)
Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the BJP President of Telangana unit, on the 17th of October, Monday, confirmed the joining of Mr. Narsaiah Goud into the Saffron Party.
Taking to Twitter, Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar, shared photos of Narsaiah Goud meeting him along with other BJP leaders. The tweet read, “Delighted to meet Shri @NarsaiahBoora garu along with @BJP4Telangana leaders at his residence today. The former MP will join @BJP4India soon.”
Notably, Mr. B. Narsaiah Goud, the former Member of Parliament (MP) of TRS announced his resignation, on the 15th of October, Saturday. The move came as a major blow to the K. Chandrashekar Rao led TRS Government, especially days ahead of the Munugode Assembly by election.
Getting into the details, on Saturday, Mr. B. Narsaiah Goud was hoping to be the TRS candidate for the Munugode by election, but was disappointed after the party gave the ticket to Mr. K. Prabhakar Reddy. Upset by this decision of the TRS, Mr. Narsaiah Goud is said to have submitted his resignation letter to Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief of the TRS.
