On the 9th of June, fuel prices increased in metropolitan cities like Hyderabad, Kolkata Mumbai and Delhi.
The decision to revise the prices were taken in the wake of the increased VAT and Cess on fuel rates.
As of the 9th of June, petrol and diesel rate in Hyderabad is Rs.75.78 with 56 paise hike and Rs. 69.56 56 paise respectively.
In Chennai prices are Rs. 77.08 hiked by 48 paise for petrol and for diesel prices are Rs. 69.74 per litre with hike of 49 paise.
Petrol and diesel prices in Delhi is Rs. 73.00 with a hike of Rs. 56 per litre and diesel prices hiked by 58 paise at Rs.71.17.
The situation is similar in Mumbai with petrol prices being hiked at 52 paise to 80.01 with the costantb diesel prices at Rs.69.92 with a rise of 55 paise in the past.
The prices were based on the crude oil prices in the international market.
