GHMC Cleared 3 Places From Containment Zone For COVID-19

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC,) on the 24th of April, announced 3 places to be out of the containment zone for the spread of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.

Somesh Kumar, the Chief Secretary of Telangana, issued the order and announced the areas that has been cleared from being red zones for COVID-19.

Soon after the orders, the Telangana Police eased restrictions and removed the barricades in Apurupa Colony, Modi builders and Subhash Nagar in Quthbullapur Constituency, Hyderabad.

These areas were declared as containment zones after hike in COVID-19 cases.  The areas were removed from the containment zones tags after zero cases of COVID-19 reported in the past 14 days.

Currently, Telangana Government announced 146 areas to be red zones for the spread of the Coronavirus or COVID-19.

Meanwhile, Etala Rajender, the Health Minister of Telangana, confirmed 13 new cases of COVID-19 in Telangana, which takes the total to 983 COVID-19 cases with 26 deaths till date.
