Harish Rao Urges Telangana to Reschedule AEE Exam

BRS leader T Harish Rao has urged the Telangana government to postpone the Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) examination scheduled for November 6. He said it clashes with the Central government’s SSC Junior Engineer (JE) examination, creating problems for candidates preparing for both tests.

Harish Rao said more than 50,000 civil engineering aspirants could be affected by the clash. Candidates who applied for both exams may lose the chance to attend one of them because the tests are scheduled on the same day.

He also said aspirants had appealed to ministers, officials and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, but their concerns had not been addressed.

Since the SSC has already confirmed its exam schedule, Harish Rao asked the Chief Minister to intervene and change the date of the Telangana Public Service Commission’s AEE exam.

He said rescheduling the test would give candidates a fair chance to appear for both examinations.
