Harish Rao Visits Kanti Velugu Centres In Siddipet, Inspects Treatments For Poor

Mr. T. Harish Rao, the Finance Minister and Health Minister of Telangana, visited Kanti Velugu centres in Siddipet, Telangana.

On the 23rd of February, Thursday, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Minister visited a centre in Siddipet and inspected the implementation work of the scheme.  

During the visit, Mr. T. Harish Rao said, “Number of examinations has reached the 50 lakh mark.”  He further added, “It is a great thing to do such a large number of tests and distribute glasses to those who need them in 25 working days.”

Praising the Telangana Government and Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, Mr. T. Harish Rao said, “People are not coming to the hospitals, but the government is moving to the town.  Free computerized eye tests are being conducted and medicines and spectacles are being distributed to the needy.”

The K. Chandrashekar Rao led BRS Government launched the Kanti Velugu Scheme on the 18th of January, 2023.  Under the scheme, the Telangana Government would provide free eye treatment to the underprivileged people in the Telugu State.
