Hyderabad Heat Continues As Temperature Hits 35.3°C

Hyderabad continued to experience hot and humid weather on Thursday, with the city recording a maximum temperature of 35.3°C.

The unusual October heat came as the southwest monsoon further withdrew from Telangana, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Data from the Telangana Development Planning Society showed that Santoshnagar and Chintal recorded 35.3°C, the highest in Hyderabad during the last 24 hours. Malkajgiri and Saroornagar recorded 35.2°C.

The heat was also felt across other parts of Telangana. Khammam recorded 37°C on Wednesday, while several districts recorded temperatures between 36.5°C and 36.9°C.

The IMD said the monsoon had further withdrawn from parts of Telangana and other regions. The withdrawal line in Telangana passes through Tandur, Vikarabad, Hyderabad, Jangaon and Bhupalpally.

The weather department said conditions are becoming favourable for further monsoon withdrawal. Dry weather is likely across Telangana for the next three days.
