Hyderabad: Former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) has directed Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leaders to intensify their fight against the ruling Congress government, accusing it of failing the people of Telangana.

At a high-level working group meeting held at Telangana Bhavan, KCR discussed key party strategies, including membership registration, organizational committees, and upcoming Silver Jubilee celebrations. He emphasized BRS’s historic role in Telangana’s formation and development, asserting that the party remains the true voice of the people.

KCR announced a year-long Silver Jubilee campaign, beginning with BRS Rajatotsava programs on April 10 in Hyderabad. He also revealed plans for a massive public meeting on April 27, followed by membership drives and internal elections. The election for the party president is set for October-November.

Confident of a comeback, KCR declared that BRS will return to power 100%, citing dissatisfaction with the Congress government. He claimed that 10 by-elections are inevitable due to MLAs switching parties and urged leaders to strengthen the party from the village to state level for a permanent victory.
