The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is going to conduct a Parliamentary meeting on the 15th of November.
K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, would chair the meeting and address the Members of Parliament (MPs) and senior officials of the Party.
The TRS Parliamentary meeting is being organised to discuss the various ongoing issues in Telangana.
The major topics which are expected to be discussed during today’s meeting include the release of Integrated Goods and Service Tax (IGST) funds to the State, defence land issues, Telangana’s development and others.
The Central Government was to release an amount of Rs. 4,464 as IGST. However, so far, the Telangana Government received only Rs. 1,652 crores and the remaining amount of Rs. 2,812 crores is still due.
The Parliamentary meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 4:00 P.M., would be held at Telangana Bhavan, Telangana.
