K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology, Electronic and Communications Minister on the 12th of February, highlighted the development of the farm sector in Telangana.
Mr. Rao said, Telangana is the only state in India, which provides 24 hour power supply to the agriculture sector besides 100 % irrigation and drinking water supply.
Mr. Rao during a Party meeting said, “The Congress Government which assured to provide nine hour power supply had not even provided six hour power to the farmers.”
He said, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government is supporting the farmers with schemes like Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bheema and also waived off the farmer loans.
Mr. Rao said, “The TRS party has faced ups and downs and finally managed to get on the position and protected the self-respect of the people by achieving statehood.”
The statement of Mr. Rao came to extend his support to farmers, who are protesting against the three controversial farm laws.
