Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, conducted a high level meeting, regarding irrigation water projects.
During the meeting held on the 18th of August, Mr. Rama Rao asked the concerned officials to speed up irrigation project works in Sircilla. He said, the Sircilla Assembly constituency should be developed in the field of irrigation sector and projects should be completed soon.
The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Working President said, “Complete the works of all irrigation projects in Sircilla and ensure district development on a war-footing.” In regard to the work, Mr. Rao asked the irrigation department officials to submit a detailed report with a course of future action plan to the Municipal Administration Minister. He also directed officials to ensure cultivable land in Rajanna Sircilla gets water for irrigation.
Yesterday’s meeting was attended by the Irrigation Principal Secretary Mr. Rajat Kumar and other officials of the department.
It is to be noted, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao would again call for a meeting to review the ongoing works of the irrigation projects. I addition, he would also conduct field iinspections to see ongoing projects and work.
