The two drivers of a bus, Ragula sagar and Nerella Sekhar, who were also the beneficiaries of the State’s welfare Dalit Bandhu Scheme, and collaborated with the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC.) The collaboration happened with Rs. 20 lakhs of the Dalit Bandhu Scheme and a combined loan of Rs. 22 lakhs from the State Bank of India (SBI.) This is a revolution for the Dalits of Telangana, who could use the scheme and get out of a life of being just laborers for others. Under the Dalit Bandhu Scheme, each beneficiary would get an amount of Rs. 10 lakhs, which could help them to start their business.
Now their buses tied with the TSRTC are running profitably between Warangal and Sircilla.
