Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) working president and IT Minister of Telangana, reacted to the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) orders.
On the 21st of October, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao tweeted, “TRS working president said that the central election commission’s handling of the Munugodu returning officer’s transfer is objectionable. @KTRTRS. This is another example of how the Bharatiya Janata Party is misusing the constitutional institutions.”
It is to be noted, as per the CEC orders, earlier, Yuga Thulasi Party contestant K. Shiva Kumar filed a complaint that his road-roller symbol was removed and allotted a baby walker. In this regard, the CEC restored the road roller symbol to the Yuga Thulasi Party and gave them. They also transfer Munugode by-elections Returning Officer (RO) citing violating of the poll norms.
Reacting to the transfer, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao said, independent bodies like the Election Commission of India, the Central Bureau of Investigation and the Enforcement Directorate are dancing on the tunes of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The TRS Working President dared the BJP to seek votes and win the Munugode by election without such political tactics and misusing the ECI.
It is to be noted, the Munugode by election is scheduled to be held on the 3rd of November, and the results of the elections will be announced on the 6th of November.
