After taking a break on the 4th of November, Friday, Mr. Rahul Gandhi, the former President of the Indian National Congress (INC) resumed his Bharat Jodo Yatra in Sangareddy district, Telangana.
Notably, the nationwide Bharat Jodo Yatra, which started on the 7th of September from Tamil Nadu, entered Telangana, on the 23rd of October. In between, Rahul Gandhi’s delegation covered Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and now Telangana. The Bharat Jodo Yatra, a nationwide walk by the INC is launched against the Bharatiya Janata Party regarding issues like unemployment, hike in prices of essential commodities like petrol prices and others.
On the 5th of November, Saturday, Mr. Rahul Gandhi led INC delegation resumed their Bharat Jodo Yatra from the Choutakur region of Sangareddy district, in Telangana. After walking approximately 21 km, from 6:30 A.M., the INC delegation took break at 9:30 A.M., in Dhanampally in Andole Mandal and started yatra again at 4:00 P.M.
Mr. A. Revanth Reddy, the President of the Telnagana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC,) leaders from Sangareddy district and INC activists joined Mr. Gandhi in the walk.
On the 6th of November, Mr. Rahul Gandhi would conclude the yatra in Telangana. In Telangana, Mr. Rahul Gandhi would cover 19 assembly constituencies and seven Parliamentary constituencies for a distance of 375 km. It would enter Maharashtra, the next destination on the 7th of November.
