Saidabad Rape And Murder Case Accused Commits Suicide, Body Found Near Warangal Railway Track

The Saidabad Rape Case investigation took a shocking turn after the prime suspect committed suicide.

On the 9th of September, a six year old girl was allegedly raped and murdered by a 30 year old man. Identified as Pallakonda Raju, the neighbor of the victim has been alleged of the rape and murder. It is to be noted, since the 10th of September, when the girl’s body was found near a lake, the main suspect has been absconding. The police formed 15 teams, issued lookout notice and announced rewards to nab the culprit in the Saidabad Rape and Murder case.

After days of search, on the 16th of September, the Hyderabad police informed that the accused In the Saidabad Rape and Murder case took away his own life. The body of the suspect was found on the railway track near Pamanuru station of Ghanpur mandal, in Warangal. Although the body was not in a state to be identified, it was confirmed based on a tattoo on the accused hand.

Ramesh Niak, a Sub Inspector said the body was found around 5 kms away from the Station Ghanpur. He said, “The tattoo marks, hairstyle, and other physical features are similar to that of Raju. ”

The suicide news of the Raju came a day after the Hyderabad Police issued a lookout notice to nab him. The Hyderabad Police also announced a reward of Rs. 10 lakh to anyone who would give information or clues about the suspect.

Upon hearing the news of the accused’s suicide, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology and Urban Development Minister of Telangana took to Twitter and said, “Just been informed by Telangana DGP that the beast who raped the child has been traced and found dead on a railway track at station Ghanpur.”
