Telangana is all set to go for Dubbaka by polls on the 3rd of November.
The State politics is witnessing heated activities as the three major parties, the Indian National Congress (INC,) the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) are fighting to win the elections.
The high decidable campaign in the small constituency is an intense battle for Telangana politics.
The Dubbaka constituency has almost 2 lakh voters, for which 315 polling stations are organised.
The polling stations were increased due to the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
The Chief Secretary of Telangana Somesh Kumar and other officials supervised the arrangements for the by poll.
The Dubbaka by elections would be contested by Ramalinga Reddy’s wife Solipeta Reddy from the TRS, M. Raghunandan Rao from the BJP and C. Srinivas Reddy from the INC.
Interestingly, both Raghunandan and Mr. Srinivas were a part of the TRS in the past.
While the voting would be held on the 3rd of November, the counting of votes would be held on the 10th of November.
