Another Shramik Train, specially launched for returning migrant workers to their native places, flagged off from Hyderabad Station on the 5th of May.
This is the second train from Hyderabad Telangana, under the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government.
Today’s Shramik special train carried 1,250 migrant workers from Ghatkesar railway station at 3:05 A.M.,to Khagaria in Bihar..
The concerned authorities for the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 screened every workers before allowing them to board the train
Mahesh Bhagwat, the Police Commissioner of Rachakonda police station, assured breakfast and water bottles for all the migrants before boarding the train.
With this, the State Government would run 40 special Shramik Express trains to send the migrant workers back home. The migrant labourers would be allowed to go after completing a registration process at local police stations.
The trains would run everyday till the 11th of May from Telangana to Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal and other states.
