K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, on the 21st of June, laid the foundation stone for a multi speciality hospital in Warangal. 

On Monday, KCR visited Warangal district of Telangana and also laid the construction stone for Kaloji Health University building. The five storey medical building would be a major development project in Warangal, worth Rs. 25 crores. The construction amount would be released by the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government.

In regard to the hospital foundation, the Telangana CM recently toured Warangal’s MGM Hospital. The visit was to explore the idea of shifting the Warangal Central Prison and setting up a health facility in its place. The State Government was planning to convert the jail premises to a multi super specialty hospital with the latest technology, equipment and medical services for a long time. Finally, the idea was executed and the construction stone was laid today, the 21st of June.

According to sources, the Chief Minister of Telangana was welcomed by the TRS Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) and senior leaders and other officials at Hanamkonda area of Warangal district, Telangana.

Later, KCR along with the TRS Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao left for the inauguration event of the Kaloji Health University building. After conducting a bhoomi puja, KCR inaugurated the construction of the medical building of a 30 storey building. The super specialty hospital would be constructed on 59 acres of land with thirty stores including a helipad on the last floor for air ambulance.

After the inauguration event, KCR attended the opening ceremony of the new collector building and headed to Kadiyam Srihari house. The old collectorate buildings at Subedari in Hanamkonda was completely demolished and a new building was constructed under the name of Integrated District Office Complex. The Telangana Government released an amount of Rs. 53 crores for the new collectorate building in Warangal.

The new collectorate complex has been completed on an area of ​​6.73 acres and has three floors with 34 branches office including a video conference hall for 50 people and a conference hall for 210 people.

Later, KCR left for Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district to review the construction of the temple in Telangana’s Yadadri district.

In regard to the visit, the Telangana Police arranged tight security.
