The Telangana Education Department is likely to announce the School of Secondary Certificate (SSC) examination results in two weeks.
The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) would announce the results for the SSC examination 2021. Due to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Telangana State Boards of Secondary Education cancelled the examination for class Xth. The results would be announced on the basis of the previous assessments and student’s record in respective schools.
In addition, students who failed in the formative assessment or were absent would also be given passing marks.
As schools were able to conduct only one formative assessment, marks obtained by students in it will be considered to award Grade Point Average (GPA). In the current year, 5,21,393 students have registered for the SSC exams.
Meanwhile, the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) is considering the option to award intermediate practical marks based on the practical records submitted by the students. However, a decision for the intermediate examination (class 12th) is yet to be taken. As of now, the examination has been postponed in the wake of the second wave of the Novel Coronavirus.
The Telangana Education Department would review the situation in the first week of June, following which they would announce the dates. Students would be notified at least 15 days prior to the examination.
