The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) on the 16th of April, promoted 6 Indian Public Service (IPS) officers in Telangana.
The State Government issued an order regarding the promotion and announced their posting as the Deputy Inspector General (DIGs) in Telangana.
The six IPs officers are of 2006 batch and were working as the DIGs. However, an official notice regarding their promotion were issued on the 16th of April.
The IPS officers promoted to DIG level are Karthikeya, Ramesh Naidu, Satyanarayana, Sumathi, Srinivasu and Venkateswara Rao.
Details of Promotions of Six IPS Officers:
Kartikeya continues as Nizamabad police commissioner.
Ramesh Naidu is the deputy director of the Rajabahadur Venkatarami Reddy Police Academy at DIG level.
Sathyanarayana Continues as Ramagundam Police Commissioner in DIG status
Venkateswara Rao is appointment as Cyberabad Police Commissioner – Additional duties to Venkateswara Rao as Madhapur DCP.
Sumathi is the DIG in the CID Department in Telangana.
Srinivas as DIG in CID sector.
