The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government, on the 9th of March, Wednesday, announced to fill 80,039 government jobs and decided to issue notification.

Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, on the second day of the Telangana Assembly Budget Session, said the TRS Government would issue notification from today.  According to the media, the KCR Government would release 2,020 teaching posts and 2,774 non-teaching posts in all the Telangana universities.  With the new additional vacancies, the total number of direct recruitment vacancies rose to 91,142.

Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao said, “I am happy to convey good news to the youth of the state that the government has decided to take up the recruitment of these posts immediately.”

Furthermore, with the new job notifications, the TRS Government would have a burden of Rs. 7,000 crore on the state exchequer annually.  Despite the burden, the Telangana Government would fulfill their promise and provide jobs to the eligible youth of the State.

In regard to this, the State Government asked all the departments to prepare details of vacancies that arise every year.  The Government also added that the government has decided to issue notifications giving appropriate time in between so that the employees can compete in all the recruitment exams.

The TRS President said,  “Keeping in view of the aspirations of the unemployed youth, the government has also decided to relax the upper age limit for direct recruitment, to enable more unemployed to become eligible to compete in the proposed recruitment, by ten years, except for uniformed services like police.  With this, the upper age limit will be 44 years for open category, 49 years for SC, ST, BC, 54 years for Physically handicapped, and 47 years for Ex-Servicemen.”

Notably, with the issued notification, the KCR Government would fill the vacant posts within seven months to one year.

Meanwhile, the Telangana Assembly Budget Session 2022-2023 started from the 7th of March.
