On the 6th of August, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government released a list of government job posts in various departments in the State.
With the release of the list, the State Government is scheduled to release an official notification to fill close to 50,000 jobs in Telangana. The notification is expected to be released in the next 10 days.
According to sources, The K. Chandrashekar Rao led Telangana Government has reserved 95 % of the posts to the locals in district, zonal and multi-zonal cadres.
The top state cadre posts like RDO (Revenue Divisional Officer), DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police), CTO (Commercial Tax Officer), Excise Superintendent, District Registrar among other posts have been included in the multi-zonal category. The number of posts in the three categories would be allotted to every district based on the requirement of the local needs and eligibility.
The concerned authorities said that the list of the three category posts have been sent to the state Finance Department to finalise the number of vacancies in each department. The first notification to fill the huge government job vacancies would be released anytime soon. Besides, zonal, multi zonal and district officials, some government posts in the education department like school teaching staff would also be filled. The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) would fill the District Selection Committee (DSC) and some of the clerical posts.
The issued lists and soon to be announced notification would be a huge relief for the youths of Telangana. In addition, reservation of 95 % for locals is another bonus point for the unemployed eligible youths willing to get government jobs.
