The Telangana High Court (HC,) refused to entertain a plea filed in the court, demanding the postponement of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) Post Graduate (PG) exam.
On the 16th of February, Thursday, the HC bench reviewed the petition and refrained from interfering in the matter. The bench comprising Justice Abhinandan Kumar Shavili and Justice Pulla Karthik dismissed the petition filed by one P. Murali Krishna.
Notably, two separate petitions were filed in the High Court, demanding three months extension for the NEET PG 2023 exams, as the academic calender and studies, amid the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) breakout in the last two years. However, the Telangana HC bench said they could not interfere in the medical admission process and would not entertain the petition in this regard.
With this, students appearing for the NEET PG 2023 entrance exam need to give it as per schedule, on the 5th of March 2023.
