In Telangana, another shocking incident of cardiac arrest was reported. On the 27th of February, a man, looking healthy and fine, suddenly collapsed while dancing at a wedding.
The incident took place in Pardi village of Nirmal district, about 200 km from Hyderabad. Getting into the details, a 19 year old man, a native of Maharashtra was in Hyderabad to attend the wedding of his relative. Whole dancing at the wedding, the young man collapsed suddenly. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead. Doctors said the youth may have suffered massive cardiac arrest.
It is to be noted, the cases of cardiac arrest are on the extreme rise. Recently, two similar incidents were reported in the Telugu State of Telangana. The latest one is where a man collapsed on roadside but was saved by a police constable Rajashekar, who gave him CPR.
Concerned about the rising cardiac arrest cases in Telangana, Mr. T. Harish Rao, the Health Minister of Telangana, urged people to be cautious and follow a healthy lifestyles. He also said, the K. Chandrashekar Rao led Telangana Government would begin training of government officials and police personnel to give CPR, which could help to reduce such cardiac arrest cases, saving lives.
