After launching the awaited national party, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS,) Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, spoke about expansion and nationwide activities.

On the 5th of October, Wednesday, after the launch, formerly known as the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) would make a beginning from Maharashtra to expand its activities nationwide.  Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao said the party would pick up Maharashtra as the first field of activity and would launch the farmers’ wing of the party, BRS there. 

Speaking at the TRS General Body meeting, at Pragati Bhavan, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao said, he would continue as the Chief Minister of Telangaa, despite launching national party, and entering the national politics and contest the 2024 General elections.  KCR said, “We will not leave the ground.  No one should have any doubts about this.”  KCR further added,  “If resources of our country are used within the country, we can develop better than America. We still have time.  We will expand across the country.”

On the occasion of Dussehra, the 5th of October, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao officially launched the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and announced to enter national politics.

The national party was launched with the agenda of entering national politics and stand as a strong opposition against the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Notably, the biggest announcement of the regional Telugu party came at a time when Telangana is set to conduct Munugode by election on the 3rd of November.  Furthermore, the Telugu State is also gearing up for the State Assembly elections in 2023.
