On the 16th of February, Wednesday, the Jawaharnagar police busted a flesh trade racket, rescuing three women.
According to sources, a group of people was running a flesh trade racket in Hyderabad, Telangana. After the search operation, the police arrested four persons for allegedly organizing prostitution.
The search was based on a tip-off, the team caught Balapuram Prasad (32), an auto driver who was organizing prostitution at a house in Shivajinagar. The police said Prasad along with Jyothi, Sai Kishore, Suryavamshi, Bhavani, and Bhagya Laxmi were bringing women from various places on the pretext of jobs and forcing them into prostitution. The Jawaharnagar Police Inspection S. Chandrasekhar said, “They were collecting between Rs 2,000 and Rs 3,000 from each customer.”
As of now, the Telangana Police have registered a case and is investigating the matter.
