Telangana Reports 1,302 New COVID-19 Cases With 82.22%
The Telangana Health Department, on the night of the 20th of September, confirmed 1,302 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
According to the everyday media bulletin released by the State Health Department, Telangana added 1,302 new COVID-19 cases, 9 fatalities and 2,230 recoveries in the past 24 hours.
The Health Ministry of Telangana releases the media bulletin updating the COVID-19 situation at 10:00 P.M., regularly.
As per the data, of the total 1,302 new cases, 8 were from Adilabad, 29 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 266 from areas under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC,) 34 from Jagtial, 18 each from Jangaon and Gadwal.
The remaining cases were 14 from Kamareddy, 102 from Karimnagar, 35 from Khammam, eight from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 24 from Mahabubnagar, 45 from Mahabubabad, 20 from Mancherial, 16 from Medak, 24 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 15from Mulugu, 37 from Nagarkurnool, 70 from Nalgonda, four from Narayanpet, 13 from Nirmal, 50 from Nizamabad, 20 from Peddapalli, 23 from Siricilla, 98 from Rangareddy, 54 from Sangareddy, 92 from Siddipet, 26 from Suryapet, 10 from Vikarabad, 25 from Wanaparthy, 18 from Warangal Rural, 62 from Warangal Urban and 24 positive cases from Yadadri Bhongir.
With these updates, Telangana has 1,72,608 positive cases, of which 29,636 are active cases, 1,41,930 and 1,041 deceased.
The recovery rate of Telangana from the Novel Coronavirus infection is 82.22 % and mortality rate is 0.60%.
Meanwhile, the State health authority conducted as many as 31, 095 COVID-19 tests in the past 24 hours. Of the total tests, 1,205 samples’ results are awaited.
Cumulatively, so far 25,19,315 COVID-19 tests have been conducted in Telangana.
The total population of Telangana is at 3,72,20,00,00.
