On the 21st of September, India reported a total of 86,961 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
With this, the nation recorded nearly 5.4 million COVID-19 cases till date.
Though the number of cases are increasing rapidly with a minimum rise of 80,000 cases, the recovery rate of 78.80 %.
However, after recording more than 90,000 COVID-19 cases consecutively for five days, India on the 20th and 21st of September, reported below 90,000 cases.
With this, the Nation’s tally of COVID-19 cases is at 5,485,612.

Meanwhile, Kerala registered its highest spike of 4,696 Coronavirus cases.
However, top five states with highest number of Coronavirus cases are: Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh. According to the updates, these top five states reports 60% of total active cases of India’s total cases.
World coronavirus update: The global tally of coronavirus cases stands at 31,223,591. While 22,817,424 have recovered, 964,761 have died so far.
The United States of America (U.S.A.,) is the worst COVID-19 hit nation with 7,004,768 cases, followed by India (5,485,768) and Brazil (4,544,629.)
