Telangana State Monsoon Assembly Session To Continue Till September 28

The Business Advisory Committee (BAC,) on the 7th of September, announced the duration of the Telangana Monsoon session.

The Telangana Monsoon session, which started on the 7th of September and would continue till the 28th of September.

The session would be held for 17 days, as four days holidays have been announced i.e, on the 12th,13th, 20th and 27th of September.

The Telangana Assembly speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, Minister for legislative Affairs Vemula Prashanth Reddy, MLAs Akbaruddin Owaisi, Bhatti Vikramarka and assembly secretary Narasimhacharyulu attended the BAC meeting.

During the meeting, the ministers and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leaders decided to allocate one hour for the question hour session and only six questions will be raised at a session.

Zero hour would continue for half an hour.

Major discussions likely to be discussed during the Telangana Monsoon Assembly session are prevention of virus spread, availability of treatment for the patients, crop loss incurred due to heavy rains and preventive measures, achievements in the agriculture sector, controlled cultivation, electricity bills proposed by the centre, ST and minority reservations, sub-classification of SC, new revenue act and others.
