Telangana becomes the third State to support the Modi Government for its move on Demonetization. Along with Bihar and Odisha who have backed Prime Minister Modi’s decision, Telangana has lent its support to the center too. K Chandrasekhar Rao, Telangana Chief Minister said, “Demonetization will curb black money, terrorism, corruption and fake currency. (It is) Good for nation building.”
After Nitish Kumar and Naveen Patnaik, Chandrasekhar Rao is the third Chief Minister to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s move on demonetization.
Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao conveyed reservations over the implementation of Demonisation of notes taken by the center. K Chandrasekhar Rao’s Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) backed the Center inspite of the reservations. Nevertheless, it asked the Government to take necessary steps to reduce hardships faced by the common man while withdrawing cash from the ATM’s. It also asked the center to ease the difficulty caused in exchanging new notes and the notes of smaller denomination.
Chandrasekhar Rao said that Telangana State stands in number one position when it comes to cashless transactions. He further said that Siddipet in the Telangana state will go completely cashless.
