On Monday, the 25th of October, Telangana reported 179 new cases with two deaths and 104 recoveries. The new cases were confirmed by conducting 38,588 sample tests for the COVID-19 infection.
On Monday, the State Health Department conducted fewer than 40,000 tests for COVID-19.
With the tests conducted in the past 24 hours, the State Health Department crossed 2.73 crore COVID-19 tests till date.
The aforementioned data was confirmed through a health bulletin, released by the Telangana Health Department, on a regular basis. The media bulletin of the State Health Department which is being released in the evenings regularly, updates about the COVID-19 situation in Telangana.
According to the COVID-19 data, despite the low number of cases, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC,) region reported 66 cases, the highest number of the Wuhan virus cases. Of all the districts, the GHMC limit is the only region with more than 50 new Wuhan virus cases.
With this, Telangana now has 6,70,453 positive cases, of which 3,949 are active cases, 6,62,481 are recovered/discharged cases and 3,949 are deceased. The recovery rate of Telangana is now at 98.81 % and the fatality rate of COVID-19 remained constant for the past four months at 0.58 %.
