The Telangana Information and Technology (IT) Minister K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) extended help to a needy IT student.
Recently, on the 25th of August, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Minister handed over a cheque for her tuition fees to Mekala Anjali, an IT student. Mr. K.T. Rama Rao met with Mekala Anjali and handed the cheque to pay her tuition fees at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore. For his act of kindness, Mr. Rao gained a lot of media attention and praise.
According to sources, a resident of Warangal district, Mekala Anjali secured a seat in the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT,) Indore. However, due to her financial conditions, she was unable to arrange the tuition fees. After struggling and failing to arrange the money, she sought help from Mr. K.T. Rama Rao. She contacted the TRS Minister through the micro blogging site, Twitter.
Upon knowing Mekala Anjali’s story, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, who is known for helping needy people, extended financial assistance to the young lady. It is to be noted, Ms. Mekala Anjali got admission in the IIT Indore in 2019 and since then Mr. K.T. Rama Rao has been extending financial help to her.
Although K.T. Rama Rao is helping the IIT student since 2019, the matter once again got media attention after he recently handed a cheque for her third year studies. He even assured her financial assistance for her further studies and asked about her future plans.
