Hearty fringe is what the kids going for these days: Hairstyle fans know the fringe frames the face, but a new trend is allowing young women to wear their hearts in their bangs instead. The fad has kicked off in South Korea, with young women and girls styling their fringe turning inwards to form upside down heart shapes.
Called hateu aapmuhri – literally ‘heart-bangs hair’ – it’s thought to have been an influence on Kendall Jenner.The celebrity shared an image on Instagram of her tumbling locks styled into hearts which broke last month’s record with 2.9 million likes.
