London: Pregnant woman was shocked after seeing the face off her late grandfather kissing her unborn baby in the baby scan.
Jade Hornsby, went to Harley Street for a 4D scan to get an idea of what her baby girl might look like. But when she reached home and looked at the scanned copies, she was amazed to see the profile of her late grandfather Jack Hornsby, who passed away in the 2007 in the corner of the image, trying to kiss the baby.
Jade, from Dagenham, East London, said “It’s really spooky. It looks just like him, and you can see him more clearly than my daughter.
“The lips are puckering up as if he’s about to kiss her on the cheek. You can make out the eyes, nose and mouth so clearly.”
Jade noticed the face of her when she showed the pictures to her mother who instantly recognized Jack. The full-time single mum said, “We just couldn’t believe it. It’s as if he’s blessing her in the womb.”
“I found it really comforting. I have good memories of my grandfather. It is like someone was looking over her.”
The image was taken in July 2013 when Jade was 30 weeks pregnant.
